A New Photosong ‘Reflection’

Here is my photosong ‘Reflection’ I recorded yesterday using the voicelive3 loop pedal

The image looking back at me
In this reflection of myself
Is showing me

The emptiness I felt inside
Became the womb of my potential
Growing and waiting
For the time to come alive

My history has been told
Those streets are empty now
And all the houses have been sold

With all that I have come to know
At this doorway I stand
On the edge of the dream of all my tomorrows

Happiness is not the feeling
It’s the space within the grieving
It’s the hidden meaning
The heartbeat beneath the dreaming

Pledge Campaign – 6 Days To Go

It is 6 days until my Pledge campaign closes! I have just reached 75% of target and looking good.  I am going to start sending pre-order CDs from Friday as I wanted everyone who has supported the project to get the album ahead of the official release date on 7 April.

It is great being an independent artist – you can just do what you like! Although sometimes things do get a bit haphazard… At times I feel like I am a one man crew on a very big ship. There are so many things to manage.

I posted this song on youtube the other day – I wrote it on a very sunny clear day and the beautiful weather over the weekend inspired me to share it :

The full album is being streamed on The Big Takeover this Friday 31 March. CDs have been sent to Proper Music to be distributed to shops, and it feels exciting to have the album go out into the world!

There is still time to support the project, just click on the link below to pre-order your copy of Antidote.
